We had 6 window companies around to provide costs for the front of our home. We knew the design we wanted and all the companies were A rated, so we could compare like for like. However every company but yours “called” the competition but Mark’s sale was based on the windows and install that you would provide, not what others wouldn’t or couldn’t do. Several tried to put us off going with Direct Window Co saying we would regret the decision. The windows are very large and some needed to have safety glass fitted. We also had some special requirements and Mark arranged for a piece of sample glass, and a piece of the moulded frame we requested (which differs from your normal frame), to be sent out with the surveyor. We had 2 conversations with your installs team at the office and both people handled the call efficiently and politely, the install date was booked to fit in with my husbands roster pattern.
Then Darren and Simon arrived, they worked solidly for 2 days with hardly a break for lunch, installing the 4 windows and the bay into a solid old house that had mortar which was extremely difficult to get off. They both kept our home as clean as possible clearing away mess and dust as they finished a room, they were polite and friendly and focussed on the detail. The windows were fitted, finished and look perfect both inside and out.
We are delighted with the whole service we received from Direct Window Co and we both wanted to say thanks, and to let you know that your company delivers the highest level of product and service possible.

Dear Direct window co,I just wanted to write you to say thank you very much for the work you have done for me recently, both my beautiful conservatory and also my new windows. I am delighted. Please find enclosed a cheque for payment on my windows.
The conservatory ended up taking longer than necessary due to needing planning permission and then my neighbour objecting, which further delayed the process. Then the building work with Byron and his gang had to be delayed because of my awful neighbour…….which did not help any of us at the time!!!
I have to say that Byron and all of the lads were fantastically diplomatic and even more patient on the day from events that happened with the neighbour!!!(The neighbour would not allow us to use the side access to my house).
The builders worked like Trojans when an alternative was found in bringing ALL the materials through my home…not ideal…but manageable at great graft to all of them. Direct window co met some of the additional costs which this incurred from protecting my home from the materials. Throughout all of the ongoing work they treated my home with respect and considering the ‘muck’ which needed to pass through my home, they covered up and cleaned up everyday….and remained cheerful and friendly throughout it all.
The delivery of the frames went ‘swiftly’ with taking time off work to be there and then seizing an opportunity for the frames to be delivered over the ‘very land’ which my neighbour had blocked Byron from accessing. The delivery lads were efficient and very sensitive to what had gone on previously. The 2 men who fit the actual conservatory worked hard in appalling weather conditions and yet made sure that everything was left clean and tidy. I never actually met the window fitters but they too did a brilliant job, the windows look brilliant.
I have dreamt of a conservatory for many years and always felt it was out of my reach financially….but I have always kept a look out for something realistic….The difference between your company to many others is that what you actually advertise is EXACTLY what you mean as in the price includes the base work and the frames etc….From my first contact with your showroom and my box of chocolates & bottle wine through to completion you have delivered and it has been a very positive experience.
I look forward to receiving my M & S vouchers and I certainly will be recommending you to any who may be considering a conservatory in the future.

Our first contact was with Matthew some 12 months ago but we decided not to pursue the project at that stage. Our second contact was a few weeks ago when we met George, with whom we had a delightful conversation, who handed us over to Mark. On each occasion we found a very relaxed atmosphere in your showroom and we were guided to products suitable for our requirements, and we were able to make a buying decision.

Having made the decision, we were then able to select a date for your surveyor (Stuart) to come along and check the dimensions we had given Mark. This too was a good experience with Stuart confirming our requirements and making a call to arrange an installation date suitable to you and to us.
Team “Lee” were well organised and obviously very experienced in the task and for us it was painless exercise. Not only did they install the windows with efficiency but also left our property clean and tidy which we felt was a very important factor in the overall process.
Another important point has been our experience with your after sales service. Unfortunately in this day and age one can get the impression that once a sale is made the ‘back-up’ leaves much to be desired but not with your company.
The quality of the product is plain to see both internally and externally and enhances our home which is important to us.

I would also like to thank Angela in the office. No doubt she receives hundreds of phone calls from customers daily, but on each occasion I spke to her, the matter was handled directly and needed no chasing up.

I enclose a cheque for £9325 for the recent construction of my conservatory.
I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for the outstanding experience that I have had. Building work is stressful but Direct window co have gone out of their way to make it easy as possible for me. They were recommended to me by a friend who had them recommended to him. I can see why!
The whole service from quotation to construction has been fantastic! Sean the salesman is a credit to the company: nothing was too much trouble for him – planning permission etc and he designed the conservatory that I wanted, not the conservatory I was told by other companies I would have to have.
Things moved swiftly and I didn’t have to worry about dealing with the planning permission myself as it was all taken care of. Colin the surveyor was friendly and efficient and was really helpful when I changed my mind about the design halfway through the build. Byron the builder couldn’t do enough for me and went out of his way to help, even after a stressful phone call on a Sunday afternoon after I wanted to change the design. I was impressed to see him at my house at 8am on a Saturday morning to sort out the base. Every member of every trade – Kev, Neil etc have been efficient and contacted me personally to make arrangements. Regular phone calls from the office have ensured that things have run as smoothly as possible. Several friends have commented how “bonny” the conservatory looks.
I am very impressed by the whole company; it is rare to see such a committed, organised and friendly company and I would have no hesitation in recommending Direct windows to anyone. Thank you very much for everything. I just wish that you did kitchens and bathrooms too!
